Staci is applying its expertise to the supply chain of LITED, a manufacturer and distributor of LED lighting solutions.

French company LITED designs, manufactures and distributes intelligent, eco-responsible LED lighting solutions focused on well-being. A leader in the French professional market for standard and made-to-measure products and services, the company, which was founded in 2005, is rolling out its first services platform this year, with the aim of simplifying the management of its customers’ lighting projects. To achieve this, LITED intends to rely on its logistics partner Staci.

Staci provides its client LITED with complete logistics management from its Saint-Ouen l’Aumône site in Val-d’Oise. The logistics provider receives, stores, prepares orders and dispatches products whose types and ranges vary frequently. A total of €5m of stock and 3,501 pallets are stored there, covering more than 1,500 product references.

Offering lightning-fast transport…

On the transport front, a key factor in customer satisfaction for LITED, Staci has designed a new range of tailor-made services. This covers delivery services on D+1 at 12 noon or 6pm, by appointment, out of gauge, via on-site provision and, soon, a courier service throughout the Île-de-France region. The aim is to provide a high value-added service for LITED’s customers, while guaranteeing that deadlines are met without fail.

“This new logistics and transport offer will enable us to strengthen our competitiveness and develop our position in the French market. We need to guarantee our installer and distributor customers deliveries anywhere in France within 24/48 hours, on terms negotiated with the various carriers, and that’s what Staci has managed to offer us,” says Maxime HEBERT, LITED’s Marketing/IS Director.

Tracking in the spotlight

Interfaced with LITED’s digital services platform, Staci keeps its customers informed in real time of shipments and order tracking. ‘This platform is also accessible to our customers. They can consult the product catalogue, enter quotations, place orders, access stock information and choose the transport solution best suited to their needs. Finally, thanks to Staci, we are able to share the tracking of their parcels with them’, concludes Maxime HEBERT, Marketing/IS Director at LITED.

“We are thrilled to open a second STACI US warehouse on the West Coast two years after our first location in New York.
This 10,000 sqm warehouse, located in Reno, Nevada, will allow us to integrate new customers won by the STACI US team through the commitment and quality of service delivered each day. This strategic location will also allow us to be even more efficient in our West Coast deliveries, especially due to the rapid growth in e-commerce business activities.”
Nicolas Morisse, President of STACI US Corp.

Staci has signed the acquisition of its industry peer, Base Logistics Group, a specialty logistics provider mainly focused on complex logistics services for spare parts, Medical and High-Tech industries.

Base Logistics Group, based in Moerdijk (Netherlands), consists of the logistics companies Base Logistics, HealthLink and Special Logistic Services (SLS).

With this acquisition, Staci strengthens its positioning into the management of complex orders with complementary services (including international transportation-related); and continues the expansion of its foothold in Europe and the United States.

This acquisition makes us part of a successful logistics organization that fits Base Logistics Group very well in terms of vision and values. From the very first contact with Thomas Mortier and his team there has been a good click between us and I am therefore confident in the future with Staci Group as our strategic shareholder.

Robin Voet – Base Logistics Group CEO

Intact

Base Logistics Group will operate separately within Staci Group and will remain independent as an organization.

We are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome a successful logistics service provider in our group. We therefore warmly welcome all employees of Base Logistics, HealthLink and SLS within our organization and we are very much looking forward to the collaboration.

In this sense, nothing will change for Base Logistics Group customers. We will of course make intensive use of each other’s expertise and networks, which will make the service offering to our customers of Base Logistics and Staci even more attractive.

Thomas Mortier – CEO Staci

Staci has been enhancing the production capacities and logistical needs of Biologique Recherche for the last 4 years. Together, they’re building a durable partnership in a growing environment.

Biologique Recherche and Staci: a winning collaboration

Created almost 40 years ago, Biologique Recherche combines a clinical approach to personalised skin
care, intentionally pure, concentrated, almost raw ingredients, innovative formulas and unique and
rigorous protocols. Working with a select network of medical spas, city spas and the most prestigious hotel spas, Biologique Recherche, whose renowned efficiency is thanks to an ultra-personalised methodology, has grown 3
times faster than the rest of the market.

” We are very satisfied with our collaboration with Staci which has demonstrated flexibility and agility at each stage of our development. After 4 years of working together and seeing our business double in size, we are delighted with our sustainable partnership and our ability to grow together. We have been provided with innovative solutions and above all reliable business management solutions, which comply with the regulatory constraints specific to our market.”

Pierre-Louis Delapalme – Co-Chairman of Biologique Recherche

To support this growth, Biologique Recherche wanted to refocus on its core business and outsource its logistics to a provider specialised in picking.
Thanks to its capacity to adapt, create customised solutions, and with a track record for account management excellence, Staci was selected to implement a bespoke logistics solution in a constantly changing regulatory environment.
In particular, the company has implemented a tracking system for products distributed across more than 80 countries around the world using QR codes and Prooftags (security labels with a unique digital fingerprint).

A Staci blockchain solution

Staci has set up a global distribution hub at its Moissy Cramayel site with a totally flexible layout, to support Biologique Recherche in its growth. The ERP system (software which manages and monitors a company’s information and business processes) for Biologique Recherche cosmetics was implemented at the same time as the outsourcing, thus completing the integration with Staci.

The solution, particularly suited to the luxury and cosmetics sector, guarantees the brand’s integrity by limiting potential counterfeiting as well as providing complete product traceability and secure deliveries.

2 NEW LOGISTICS SITES

To support the organic growth of its subsidiaries in the UK and Spain, Staci is inaugurating two new logistics sites:

  • In Blackburn, the opening of a 6th UK warehouse, 17,000 m2, makes a total UK area of 86,000 m2.
  • In Madrid, the opening of a 7th warehouse in Spain, 7,000 m2, to provide a total of 33,500 m2.

THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL

“The implementation of new international contracts through multi-nationals who are existing Staci customers in other countries, further strengthens our development strategy. Our customers can now benefit from a single contract, a single information system, the same reporting and the same sales support. Think global, Act local is a key benefit of working with Staci! ».

Thomas Mortier, CEO of STACI

” Staci Italia became the official supplier of Continental Italia for the management of marketing materials for dealers, partners and events. The materials received and stored are passed through its central hub to the various distribution channels. Staci has shown that it is ready to meet all our needs by simplifying processes and supporting our in-house teams. “

Lucia Procaccini – Purchasing & Internal Compliance Manager

By analysing the needs of its customer, Staci has created an innovative platform to:
– Optimise the management time required to plan and deliver marketing materials to dealers, partners and events.
– Manage different budget levels for each agent

Thanks to its adaptability and flexibility, Staci allows customers to use a single logistics HUB that has total control over their marketing materials, used by both the Head Office and external sales teams.

KUSMI TEA was looking for logistics hubs in Germany and in the USA to support its growing e-commerce segment

“I was very pleased to work with the STACI teams on these two projects. Our contacts there had real technical know-how and were able to meet all our requirements alongside our ambitious implementation schedule.
Their professional expertise combined with a real desire to increase the number of warehouses in Europe and in the Americas will serve as a basis for our increasing exports by providing reactiveness and high-quality service that meet our clients’ expectations.”

Sébastien DUHO – Operations Manager of KUSMI TEA

Staci solutionS
